FAQ
What is the cost of installing ventilation?
Unfortunately, there is no specific answer here.
Prices for ventilation installation depend on the type of equipment to be installed, its dimensions, the height at which we are to work and the timeframe in which the ventilation systems are to be installed.
How to order a ventilation system?
If you need installation of ventilation systems in Warsaw or Poland, please contact us by phone, messenger, email or leave an enquiry on the website.
After an on-site visit and initial visual inspection, we will make an estimate for the installation of ventilation, which will be approved by the customer, and sign a contract. The ventilation installation is carried out within the agreed timeframe using the equipment specified in both the estimate and the contract.
Where ventilation is required?
Ventilation is mandatory in rooms without windows (bathrooms, storerooms, cellars). To ensure free air flow, the cross-section of the ventilation passage should be the same along its entire length.
How often does the recuperation system need to be serviced?
Typically, servicing of the recuperation system is carried out once a year.
What do we do during the inspection?
The basic activity is to change the filters, clean the exchangers and the recuperator housing. It is also important to check the condition of the condensate drainage system, the condition of the electrical connections and the unit’s settings. It is also necessary to clean the outlet grilles and the air intake grilles, including the pre-filter (if fitted).
It is advisable to follow 3 rules:
- checking the condition of the filters and the air handling unit once every 3 months and replacing the filters if necessary.
- regularly replace the filters yourself once every 6 months under standard operating conditions.
- have the recuperation system inspected by a professional once every 12 months.
- This determines how clean the air is breathed by the occupants of the building and how effective the entire recuperation system is in terms of energy efficiency.
How often do I have to change the filters in the recuperator?
We hear this question very often from our customers.
Most manufacturers recommend changing the filters once every six months and this more or less corresponds to reality. With normal operation for six months, the filters are already heavily soiled and can often already cause problems – causing abnormally high resistance to airflow and letting dust further into the recuperator and the entire air distribution system.
The filters can be changed more often, 3 or even 4 times a year – it all depends on the prevailing conditions.
As a rule of thumb, you should check the condition of the filters once every 3 months. This does not mean that you necessarily have to change them, but it is worth knowing what condition the recuperator is in. This is the device on which the air quality of the entire building depends. Because, in addition to the usual dirt factors in the area (for example, roads, industry, dusty plants) to which the User is accustomed, there are temporary ones – for example, road repair, renovation or other construction work in the vicinity. Such works are a big source of dust, and the recuperation system draws in heavily dusty air, fouling the filters intensely. In such circumstances, the filters can become dirty and clogged in a few days.
It is therefore worth remembering 3 rules:
- Check the condition of the filters and the air handling unit once every 3 months and replace them if necessary
- Change the filters once every 6 months under standard conditions.
- Have your air handling unit inspected by a qualified company once every 12 months.
- This determines how clean the air you breathe in your building is and how energy-efficient your entire recovery system is.
